Modifying Default Settings - Part 2
The following default settings can
be changed:
- FONT: Select the font and font size
- STYLE: Font style
- ABC: Print the label in verical
mode or horizontal mode
- SPACING: Set the spacing between
characters
- EXPAND: Set the character width
- CENTER: Justification of each zone
- BASE LINE: Use base line justification
(or not)
- LENGTH: Set pre-set length for all
labels
- MIRROR: Mirror image labels (or
not)
When the message "DEFAULT SETTINGS"
is on the display, call the functions you want to enter in the new
default settings and choose the desired option.
Press the ENTER key between each function
that has been newly defined.
EXAMPLE:
To change the default settings so that
each label has a length of 10 cm, a Dutch 30 point italic font is
used, and left justification is used:
1) With DEFAULT SETTINGS displayed
use the left or right arrow keys to select "FONT". (Use
the left or right arrow keys to make selections throughout this
process).
2) Select "DUTCH" and push
ENTER.
3) Select "30 PTS" and push
ENTER.
4) Select "LENGTH" and then
select "10 cm" and push ENTER.
5) Select "CENTER" and push
ENTER.
6) Select "LEFT" and push
ENTER.
7) Select "STYLE" and then
select "ITALIC" and push ENTER.
After you have select all of the new
default settings, with the message DEFAULT SETTINGS displayed push
the "Fn" and "S" keys at the same time. This
will save and activate the new default settings.
